Servicing

The quality of the after sales service is just as important as the quality of the product.

Heatstar believe that after sales support is so vital that it is something that can never be left to chance or, for that matter, in the hands of any third party. Heatstar, therefore employ their own full team of dedicated engineers, completely knowledgeable about the products and equipped with vans stocked with all necessary equipment and components. To have complete control over the scheduling of every single after sales site appointment is a priceless commodity which Heatstar’s customers have come to appreciate.

It is also worth noting that when a Heatstar engineer visits a site, they are always aware that they are representing the trade installer. Heatstar’s centralised service management also permits a number of other services to be offered. Planned maintenance agreements are available on all Heatstar products and the price of these agreements are the same throughout the UK.

The following levels of maintenance agreement are available:

  • With Gold cover the equipment is routinely serviced twice per year. In addition, should any maintenance work be necessary, the unit would be repaired without charge for parts, labour or attendance.

  • With Silver cover the equipment is routinely serviced twice per year. In addition, should any maintenance work be necessary, the client would only be charged for the cost of any parts used with no charge being made for labour or attendance.

  • With Bronze cover the equipment is routinely serviced twice per year. However, should any maintenance work be necessary, the client would be charged for the cost of any parts used and also charged for labour and attendance.

These service and maintenance contracts are renewable annually and there is no obligation for the client to commit themselves to a contract prior to the initial manufacturers warranty expiring. The costs of the contracts vary depending on the model.

All Heatstar packaged units benefit from a free ‘commissioning’ visit by a Heatstar engineer, following installation.

Extended warranties and commissioning visits are only available within the UK mainland, unless otherwise agreed.
