Best Of Both Worlds
Set in magnificent 15-acre landscaped gardens in West Sussex, the design brief for this good-looking pool was to provide the best of both worlds – a beautiful, natural-looking pool but, at the same time, a practical swimming pool.
Fowler Swimming Pools, of Cowfold, West Sussex, were instructed by the client that he wanted a ‘training pool’ which could be enjoyed by his grandchildren.
Set between outbuildings and timber pergola on one side and planted borders, plus tennis court on the other, the pool compliments the overall landscaping scheme.
It took a Fowler team of eight, including ground workers, plasterers, tilers, plumbers and electricians about three months to complete.
Constructed in reinforced concrete, the pool is 14m long x 4m wide with a constant water depth of 1.05m for an overall price around £65k.
The pool’s Heat source is a Heatstar Aquarius 4 SDF, a self contained pool water heating system which utilises free renewable energy from fresh air. Offering the highest possible efficiency the Aquarius has a super low noise fan and a digital controller.
