This Southport pool owner is a keen swimmer so wanted to achieve the maximum length for his pool within the largest pool hall the local planning department would allow him as part of a new home development.
To guarantee their design and exercise wishes were fulfilled, it was vital the client chose an experienced company like 2011 Pool Builders of the Year, Portrait Pools, a team that can provide a complete turnkey package.
To ensure control of levels and dimensions plus continuity of the project, Portrait Pools took care of all the pool hall and underground plant room waterproof concrete foundation works. They produced all the design drawings, structural calculations, specifications and completed all the finishes within the pool hall.
“Having full control of all the construction works local to the pool enabled the project to run smoothly,” says David Bland of Portrait Pools.
The energy to heat not just the pool and spa water, but also the pool hall air is efficiently provided by a Heatstar Phoenix 4000 Super+. This special Phoenix system features the latest dehumidification heat pump technology and reduced energy active fan technology. The Phoenix also provides active heat recovery to both air and pool water and fresh air ventilation.
The client drew design ideas from hotel pools visited and from the vast portfolio of award-winning Portrait Pools projects.
As David says: “Just knowing the client is delighted and completely satisfied with their finished pool shows, in itself, the success of this project which is the main goal for all of Portrait’s installations.”
